Absolutely. Our staff is here to help. Just call us, tell us what you need to store and where you are keeping it now, and we’ll be able to suggest the best options for you. We offer a large variety of storage unit sizes to fit our clients’ specific needs.

I am storing antiques, important documents, and things that are important to me. Will they be ok?
U-Lock mini storage sites are your extended home or office. We know that, and we work hard to make you comfortable here. We are extremely attentive to cleanliness, security, site maintenance and service. As a result, doctors store patient files with us, retailers store next season’s merchandise with us, and families store precious heirlooms, photos and furnishings with us.
It might also interest you to know that U-Lock has an excellent reputation with insurance companies. Among other things, they like that we have solid concrete buildings that are kept very clean, sprinkler systems, and modern ventilation and heating systems that maintain air quality. And we monitor the perimeter of the site, the building entrances, and common areas 24/7
How do I pay for storage?
Renting storage with U-Lock is just like renting an apartment. Your rent is due on the 1st of every month. When you move in, we can set up convenient automatic payments using your credit card, you can leave post dated cheques, or you can pay monthly by debit card, credit card, cash or cheque.
Is it a month-to-month rental agreement?
No, it’s better than that. You can move in any day of the month. We require a one-month minimum rental. After that, you can stay as long as you like. When you are ready to move out, just give us 7 days notice. If you move out on the 15th or earlier, we’ll prorate that month’s rent for you and refund your money.
How convenient is your site for office or retail storage?
Very convenient. Loading bays are covered and many units have drive up access so you and your product are protected from the elements as you load and unload.
Couriers can deliver directly to your unit with your authorization. You can use a lock box system on your unit to give your people easy access. And if you have no one available to receive deliveries, you can give our staff permission to receive deliveries your behalf.
And storage at U-Lock is extremely cost effective compared to using up valuable floor space in your retail or commercial rental locations
What communities do you serve?
Our mini storage locations are conveniently located to serve the communities of Surrey/White Rock, Victoria and Nanaimo, but we have clients come from all across the Greater Vancouver, and South Vancouver Island areas because they prefer our service.
Do you sell moving supplies?
Yes. Check out our one-stop-storage-shop. Right onsite, you can buy just about everything you might need for moving and storing your belongings.

Are my items covered by insurance?
You will need to check with your current homeowner’s insurance policy or broker to see if items in storage are covered under your current policy. If you need additional insurance our staff can recommend local agencies who offer extra coverage.
