Island Chase

On July 1st 2011 Island Chase contestants arrived at U-Lock Mini Storage in Nanaimo, BC for a challenge.  Their goal was to piece together a puzzle made solely out of cardboard boxes. Many teams attempted the challenge. Few were able to accomplish it.

Christmas season 2010

A very big THANK YOU to our tenants for the tremendous support to our community outreach programs this Christmas.  Clothing, gifts, toys, food and furniture were all donated to our sponsored family as well as a money donation to Options Community Services in Surrey.  Both the family and Options were overwhelmed by your generosity.

We look forward to being able to increase our involvement even more next year.

Stuff the Bus

Our White Rock / Surrey location is proud to be a supporter of the “Stuff the Bus for Kids in Need” happening August 21 to assist the children of School District No 36 in obtaining school supplies.

Christmas season 2010

WestShore U-Lock was proud to partner with BC Children’s Hospital and CFAX Santa’s Anonymous during the Christmas season.  A boxful of toys was generously donated and we appreciated everyone’s help in making some young children’s Christmas morning more exciting.  Over $100 was collected and donated to BC Children’s Hospital.  Thank you to everyone who kindly voted for our tree at the Fairmont Hotel and donated online in support of the BC Children’s Hospital.

Nanaimo location

Christmas season 2010

For our first year of operation here in Nanaimo, we partnered with The Salvation Army to assist Hamperville Nanaimo in meeting the growing needs of our community. We placed ads in the newspapers and displayed a large banner in our facility window to encourage drop off in our office.

We had tenants, staff and drop-ins all help in providing many boxes of food and clothing for those most in need. It was a joy to deliver it all to the central distribution depot where you could see the cumulative effort of the city coming together. We look forward to seeing what we can accomplish next year.
